Understanding Our Dumpster Rental Terms and Conditions

Renting a dumpster can be a convenient way to dispose of unwanted junk or debris during a clean-up project. Haul-My-Mess.com offers a variety of dumpster sizes to meet your needs, but it's important to understand the terms and conditions of our rental agreements to avoid any surprises.

Weight Allowances and Extra Charges

The weight allowance included in your rental price depends on the dumpster size and the type of material you're disposing of (trash or construction & demolition debris). See the table below for specific weight limits:

**Extra charges may apply for:**

  • Weight Overages: Exceeding the weight limit for your dumpster size will result in additional fees. See the table above for specific costs.
  • Automatic Charges: Any weight overages or extra charges will be automatically billed to the credit card used for booking unless otherwise requested in advance.
  • Yard Waste: Absolutely no yard waste is allowed in our dumpsters. A $175 fee will be charged if your load contains yard waste.
  • Landfill/Transfer Station Fees: We are billed based on weight by the landfill or transfer station. You will be notified within a week (5 business days) of any applicable excess weight or contaminated load charges.

Avoiding Extra Charges

Here are some tips to avoid extra charges:

  • Ensure Clear Access: The delivery and pick-up location must be free from obstructions such as vehicles, low power lines, or construction zones. A $175 minimum fee applies for unsuccessful attempts due to blocked access.
  • Plan Cancellations and Changes: There is a $125 fee for order cancellations or modifications on the day of delivery or after business hours the day before.
  • Schedule Pick-Up in Advance: You are responsible for scheduling dumpster pick-up at least 24 hours in advance. Call 1-216-799-9911 or submit a written notice via

    Terms and Conditions for Dumpster Use

    • **Container Movement:** Do not move the container without permission from Haul-My-Mess.com. You will be held responsible for any damage.
    • **Schedule Pick-Up Early:** Call to schedule pick-up at least 24 hours in advance, not when the dumpster is full.
    • **Relocation Fee:** A $150 fee applies if the dumpster needs to be relocated after placement due to customer request or access issues not communicated at the time of booking.
    • **Rental Period:** The standard rental period is seven (7) days. Notify the office one business day in advance if you need to extend the rental period beyond seven days. A $15.00 daily fee applies for extensions.
    • **Damage Responsibility:** The customer is responsible for any damage to the dumpster. Repair costs will be billed directly to the customer.

    Binding Effect

    This agreement is a legally binding contract between Haul-My-Mess.com and the customer. Payment is due by credit card upon order confirmation. Late fees may apply for overdue payments. The customer is responsible for reasonable attorney fees, court costs, and other applicable fees in the event of collection through legal proceedings.

    Waste Material

    Haul-My-Mess.com will collect and dispose of residential junk and waste generated by the customer, excluding hazardous materials. The customer is responsible for any damages or penalties resulting from improper disposal of hazardous waste.

    Recyclable Material

    Haul-My-Mess.com reserves the right to refuse collection of any material deemed contaminated with non-recyclable materials. See the attached list of materials accepted by Haul-My-Mess.com.

    * Batteries

    * Fluorescent tubes
    * Hazardous waste
    * Herbicides & pesticides
    * Industrial waste
    * Lubricating/hydraulic oil

    * Motor oil

    * Flammable liquids (other than completely dried latex paint cans)

    Yard Waste

    Absolutely no yard waste is allowed in our dumpsters. A $175 fee will be charged if your load contains yard waste.
